The Essex Relay Championships staged at Southend saw eight of our teams triumph. The under 17`s gave us four of these via the men`s 4 x 100m (44.5s) with the women lifting the titles of 4 x 100 (49.3s), 4 x 300 (2m 54.4s) and the 3 x 800 (7m 08.5s).
In the under 15`s category the boys won 4 x 300 in 2m 53.4s and the 3 x 800 (6m57.9s) and the girls found their success in the 4 x 100 (50.4s) and the 3 x 800 (7m16.5s) At under 13`s level the boys just missed out on pole position being second in the 4 x 100 in 56.7s.
