Chelmsford AC - Welfare and Safeguarding
Chelmsford AC adopts the Safeguarding Policies and Procedures published by UK Athletics and the four Home Country Athletics Federations (HCAF) in 2023
.

In being associated with Chelmsford AC in any capacity i.e. athlete, coach, official, parent, guardian or volunteer you are expected to be fully compliant with the relevant policies without exception.

These policies and procedures fulfil the six core recommendations of the Christopher Quinlan Safeguarding Review, implementing procedures at a grassroots level, and providing a clear structure and guidance for safeguarding athletics across the UK, with all cases now reporting in and to be overseen by the UKA Safeguarding Team.  Implementation includes the introduction of My Concern, a system for safeguarding case management which has been rolled out across the athletics governing bodies to manage and co-ordinate referrals and investigations.

The above policies and procedures can be found here UKA Safeguarding Policies and Procedures

If you have any questions about the new policies and procedures then please email safeguarding@uka.org.uk

If you wish to report a concern to the Club, then please report it here Submit a Concern
